If you’re looking to spend the day outside, The Peak District is the place to go. Sheffield is located a third of the way inside Peak District National Park. The Peak District offers a wide range of sports, including running, road cycling, mountain biking, climbing, and walking.

Sheffield Theatres

The huge stage of The Crucible Theatre is encircled by seating on three sides, so you’re never more than 20 metres from the action. It is home to world-famous shows and exciting actors right here in the city! Since 1977, The Crucible Theatre has served as the location for the famous World Snooker Championship. The steel city also offers The Lyceum Theatre. It was built in the Edwardian era by the renowned theatre architect W.G.R. Sprague, and is the only theatre he ever created outside of London.
