Art Galleries in Sheffield

The city centre of Sheffield is home to a wide variety of vibrant and very inspirational art galleries. At Enjoy Sheffield, we will take you to galleries of all sizes, right in the heart of the city!

Millennium Gallery

The vibrant Millennium Gallery features some of the city’s most interesting exhibitions as well as ongoing exhibits that honour the region’s heritage and history.

Graves Gallery

The Graves Gallery, which is concealed above the Central Library, feels like a tucked away, hidden gem in Sheffield. However, it’s only right that we let you in on it with artwork by Bridget Riley, Marc Quinn, J.M.W. Turner, Grayson Perry, and Sam Taylor-Wood, as well as excellent temporary exhibitions.

APG Works

APG Works is a screen print workshop, gallery, and frame store is full of charm with its murals at its entrance and its colourful courtyard. Some of Sheffield’s top graphic artists collaborate here with print maestro Rupert Wood.

BLOC Projects

Located on Eyre Street, BLOC Projects gallery has been a big part of Sheffield’s contemporary art scene for almost 20 years.

Yorkshire Artspace

At Yorkshire Artspace, more than a hundred artists have established artwork here. Its two locations transform into galleries once a year for Open Studios weekend, a great chance to look inside the studios of some of Sheffield’s creative residents.

S1 Artspace

Located on the Park Hill estate is S1 Artspace, which is an artist-run gallery that offers one of Sheffield’s most intriguing contemporary art programmes.

DINA

DINA is a café and arts centre that is inventive, artistic, and progressive. Focusing on fostering talent and providing a platform for underrepresented perspectives, private events and exhibits.
